About the book

The little company of minstrels has fallen on hard times. Nobody is interested in their arts anymore. But then salvation seems to be within reach: A chemical corporation offers them a lucrative engagement as a PR circus. The only condition: Eli, a girl with learning difficulties, destroys the beautiful illusion so she has to go. Fearing for their future the minstrels are almost ready to send Eli away, but then Jojo the clown tells them a fairy tale. No more than a fairy tale. Afterwards, however, nothing will ever be as it was.
